"content_text": "A customer choosing tea might browse the shop themselves or ask an assistant to help. By May 2026, TEAS.co.uk was being rebuilt to serve both. Its first version had launched the previous November; the second would make the shop\u2019s knowledge easier to use beyond its own pages.\nVersion Two went live on 10 May 2026. The rebuild brought product information, tea guides and recipes into a shared foundation that could supply both the website and its machine-readable material. The public announcement followed on 30 May.\nThink of an assistant asked to compare two packets. It needs to identify the products, read the ingredients, check the pack sizes and find the current stock information. A page full of sales copy might contain those answers, but the assistant has to work out which statement belongs to which product.\nTEAS added more direct routes to those answers. Software could ask for a product record, find its picture and link back to the relevant passage in a source. Guides and recipes supplied the knowledge around the packet. The point was to make it easier to get the right information about the right tea.\nThe same shop can therefore be useful in more than one setting. A customer can browse it. An assistant can retrieve information and bring an answer back into a conversation.\nReading the shop is only the beginning\nThe current rules allow autonomous reading and recommendation on designated routes. Basket changes and checkout require human action. That makes the present experience straightforward: software can help with the research, while the customer remains involved in buying.\nFor URSY, the rebuild was a practical step towards the agentic web. A business needs a way to participate when its first reader is software acting for someone else. TEAS gave that idea an actual catalogue to work on.\nThe later measurement pages, appreciation mint and sponsorship experiments all followed that opening. First, the shop needed something useful to offer an agent. The May rebuild made its catalogue and knowledge available for that conversation."
